About this portfolio

I am currently a design student at the University of Alberta. I have 2 years of design education behind me, with 3 more years to go before graduation with a BDes, with a minor, so to speak, in computing. While this portfolio's focus is on design, there is a link to my artwork as well, as I enjoy both areas of visual language.

This portfolio is mostly home to some of the design work I've been doing outside of school, as well as some few selections of student work. My focus is on graphic design, with an emphasis on web design.

As a designer, I strive to make original and compelling designs. By trying to learn more of what actually makes a website function beneath the surface, I hope to be able to get a better intuitive grasp of the possibilities of new technology, combined with both traditional and new methods I've learned over the past few years, in class and on my own.
